Today, 22 April, the little man got his 2-month immunizations!  Let's just say things went well right up until the needles simultaneously penetrated his thighs (left and right) like impaling rods!!  There was a quite delay almost as if he thought, "hmmmm...felt like something bit me.."  followed by, "OMG that wasn't a bite and it freakin' HURT! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

 

Anyway, it was awful to witness but he did well the rest of the day and is resting peacefully as I write this note!

On Sunday, 13 April, we were all loaded into the van driving to the main base to do our weekly grocery shopping.  However before we left Ikego (our housing area) we stopped at the gas station to fill up the van.  Paul was filling the van when Colton began to suddenly cry...and I mean CRY!!!  So I tried to console him to no avail.  Next I reached into his baby bag and pulled out his pacipher, which also didn't work.  I then decided I would let Colton suck on the tip of my pinky finger.  Much to my surprise...it WORKED, and it worked fabulously!  When Paul got back into the van, he said jokingly to the boys, "What did you boys do to Colton?"  To which Ethan responded with the quote of the week, as follows:

 

"Nothing...he just started crying for no reason and he wouldn't take his pacipher so Mom gave him the FINGER!"

 

Oh my goodness, the tears of laughter rolled down mine and Paul's face for no less than 10 minutes!  Ha Ha!!!   :)
